The company has a major presence in capital market related services like structuring fixed income, equity offerings, hybrid financing, securitised financing, merchant banking, etc. In the international market related services, it handles international market offerings, international bond offerings, correspondent banking, trade finance services, syndicated loans, Euro-commercial paper, underwriting, currency and interest rate swaps, etc.
DSP was the first Indian company to manage the 75-mln sterling pound The India Fund and the first US-registered US $ 60-mln India Growth Fund. The company handles placement of debt and equity instruments with FIIs, FIs, mutual funds, banks, corporates, trusts, NRIs, high-networth investors and individual investors. DSP Merrill Lynch Asset Managament was set up in association with Merrill Lynch Asset Management with DSPML holding 60% stake in 1996-97.
